Solar Flare Striped Beefsteak Tomato - Organic

Certified Organic. 80 days to maturity.  Striking red-gold striped tomato with rich, balanced flavor. Meaty and juicy, perfect for slicing, salads, or sauces. Heat-tolerant. 5-6 weeks before transplanting sow ¼" deep in 50 cell trays or 4" pots depending on transplant timing. Harden off in partial shaded environment before transplanting. Transplant after last frost date 24" apart in rows 4-6' apart. Plant deeply to encourage adventitioius root growth. Use basket weaving or vertical trellis methods to support plants throughout the season. Prune leaves up to 12"-18" to increase airflfow for disease reduction.
