Sugar Baby Premium Heirloom Red Seeded Watermelon

85 Days to Maturity. Certified Organic.  Legendary heirloom mini watermelon with 8lb fruits. Dark green exterior when ripe with red flesh. The undisputed champion of heirloom watermelons for Northern growers. Can be direct seeded once soil reaches 70ºF, but prefers 85ºF during germination, so transplanting is a good option. Sow indoors 3 weeks before last frost. Harvest once attachment to stem begins to dry down, and rind is dark green with a yellow spot where it rests on the ground.
