Taiyo Japanese Heirloom Sunflower - Organic

Certified Organic. 70 days to maturity. Stunning yellow petals encircle the sunflower head on this single stem variety. Shorter sunflower that grows 5-6ft tall. Sow seeds outside after last frost 6” apart. Thin to 18-24” for full size plants, and 24-48" between rows. Be sure to keep seeded area and young plants protected from hungry foraging nonhumans. To harvest cut flowers, harvest the youngest blooms and place in water and outside of direct sunlight as soon as possible.
