Sandbar Season, Keewaydin Island

Sandbars abound all along the Florida coast. While each offers unique characteristics, there is a universal appeal to boating or paddling out and spending time enjoying nature, sunshine, friends, and family. This day on Keewaydin Island found a few sandbar fans making the most of a characteristically sunny Southwest Florida day. “White sand and crystal-clear water are always an enticing combination, especially from the air,” says Jeff. “While it is nice to capture these settings with only the natural beauty in frame, I feel that including people, beach umbrellas, and boats in the scene makes the overall image much more compelling.”
