Castle & Key, Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Frankfurt, Kentucky

In the meticulously renovated destination distillery built by Colonel E.H. Taylor in 1887, inspired by classical European architecture that features a castle, springhouse and sunken garden, Will Arvin and Wes Murry brought this historical bourbon palace back to life.  Featuring locally sourced grains and unique mash bills Castle & Key has been awaited with much anticipation and the first release has proven that this will be a Kentucky distillery to watch and collect. With notes of fresh dough, apple and vanilla on the nose, fresh peach, honey and peppercorn on the palate, and rye spice coming through on the finish.
