This Pachypodium is commonly known as “Halfmens” or “Elephant Trunk” and grows in South Africa, especially near Namaqualand.  This grows quite large in habitat-- to the point that it resembles the trunk of an elephant! Care Thrives in warmth and strong light but will need acclimation to full sun. Protect from freezes by either covering or bringing inside. Water through spring and summer but it is best to leave it mostly dry through winter to avoid rot. Pot Info Rimmed Barrel Pot A heavy, structured rim tops this mostly glossy white barrel pot. The lower third of the pot reveals the roughness of unglazed clay while the underside has been tinted by hand with deep deep green (black, really) underglaze. ✓ handmade (please expect irregularities) ✓ high fired stoneware ✓ drainage hole in the bottom
