The Rarest Whiskey in the WorldDry Land Distillers and Neolithic Brand have released the world’s only 100% malted Emmer Wheat Whiskey.  Emmer is one of the oldest cultivated grains known to humanity, and Dry Land Distillers has crafted a rich, silky, and complex single grain whiskey from this extraordinary grain. This whiskey is a unique collaboration between the University of Wyoming, Dry Land Distillers, and Neolithic Brand as part of the Wyoming First Grains Project. This is the only known barrel of 100% emmer whiskey in the world. Our research has found just one other partial emmer whiskey produced in recent history. This whiskey (technically a bourbon) was released by Weller more than 15 years ago and only included a small percentage of emmer in the mash bill.
