And the manufacturer describes these as "Safe for meibomian oil gland health (ideal for MGD & dry eyes)". So here it is. WLE's AM Eyelid Gel  and PM Eyelid Butter (the one you're looking at) are basically companion products. The AM gel is water-based for faster absorption while the PM eyelid butter is oil-based for longer retention overnight.
