Most major brand lubricating ointments in the US (Refresh, Systane, Genteal) consist of petrolatum, mineral oil and lanolin alcohol. Soothe has the first two ingredients but not the lanolin alcohol.  The other unique feature of Soothe PM is that it is 80/20 (petrolatum/mineral oil). This puts it about the middle of the range. For comparison, Refresh PM is 57.3/42.5, while Systane and Genteal are 94/3.  People vary a lot in the ointment preferences! Refresh PM and Systane PM each have a very strong following.
