In a nod to one of Agave xylonocantha's most striking features it used to be named after the teeth of the Great White Shark! This Agave is also unique in that it forms relatively few of it's convoluted, sword-shaped leaves when compared to other agaves. It produces a basal rosette of up to 6 ft in diameter and 3 to 4 ft in height. Monocarpic flowering stalks can reach a height of 11 feet. It is a close relative of Agave lophantha. Also known as the Saw Leaf Agave. This plant has been grown in a 4 inch pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root" (without soil).
