This plant listing for reference only. Aloe buhrii, also known as Elias Buhr's Aloe, is a landscape plant originating from South Africa. It features toothless, soft, rubbery leaves adorned with mild spotting and produces striking winter flowers in shades of orange, yellow, or red. This species closely resembles Aloe striata but is distinguished by narrower, more upright leaves with white spotting. It typically forms solitary rosettes, with older specimens developing multiple heads. In early spring, Aloe buhrii produces multi-branched inflorescences bearing vibrant orange to yellow flowers. Native to hilltops in the Calvinia district of South Africa, it prefers full sun to light shade and exhibits drought resistance once established.
