The box is constructed of thick 3/4 MDF for great sound and acoustical resonance. The subwoofer included is the very popular ZR12.2D that is a dual voice coil 2 ohm subwoofer wired in parallel for a final nominal impedance of 1 ohm that will require 800 W RMS and 1600 W MAX .
