Glass Fiber filter Membrane with Binder (G25),1.0 µm, 90 mm diameter, 25/pkGVS Pre-Sep(TM) Glass Fiber membranes With Binders. 2-3um, 90mm diameter. Composed of borosilicate glass fibers woven into a porous matrix and bonded by an acrylic resin. This bonding produces a filter that reduces media migration and has the strength required for high-volume aqueous filtrations. Features and Benefits biologically inert, autoclavable and highly resistant to oxidizing agents and weak acids. can be used as a prefilter or used alone. Prefilters increase the speed of filtration by trapping large particles before they reach the final membrane filter. When used as a prefilter choose a size slightly smaller in diameter than the main filter to allow the prefilter to fit inside the O-ring or filter funnel holder seal, ensuring a positive membrane seal.
