If your barrel is currently coated, please add a surface treatment at checkout. If no surface treatment is added, the end of the barrel will be left raw (uncoated) after machining. Stainless barrels are fine to leave raw and will not need a coating for corrosion protection, though coatings may still be added for appearance or wear resistance.
