Our Hard Chrome frame service is a true metal plating process that delivers one of the most durable, wear-resistant finishes available. This service is offered for 1911 and 2011-style steel frames and provides excellent corrosion resistance with a clean, classic appearance. Material RequirementFrames must be made from steel to be eligible for Hard Chrome plating.Carbon steel and aluminum frames are not eligible. Overhaul RequirementIf you are sending a complete pistol or a complete lower (frame with internals installed), you must also select an Overhaul Service. This covers the full disassembly and reassembly required for proper plating. If you are sending stripped parts only, an overhaul service is not required.
