Whittled down from epic-length studio jam sessions Rose-Garcia recorded with a new-to-him group of musicians, the eclectic album encompasses languid psych-rock, sparse folk, funky lo-fi rock, and even sampled found sounds.  Movie of the Week also features the hit single “Ready or Not,” an easygoing, rootsy-bluesy duet with Sierra Ferrell.
