The Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 5.0 UVB is a T8 linear fluorescent bulb that is made by experts in Germany. It produces a gentle amount of UVB for low-UVB reptiles housed in shallower enclosures. Instructions for Use: Install the 24" Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 5.0 UVB in a 24" Zoo Med ReptiSun T8 Terrarium Hood and place over the basking area. This bulb tends to perform best with low-UVB reptiles in terrestrial (wide) terrariums around 48" long and 18" tall or less. Replace the Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 5.0 UVB every 6 months to maintain reliable UVB output. For best results, use with a Zoo Med Digital Digital UV Index Radiometer or Solarmeter 6.5.
