Two Puffins Greeting Card

The Atlantic Puffin is often called the Clown of the Sea, with its huge, multicolored bill and the ability to dive to and fro underwater looking for food.  A favorite among children for their squatty appearance and dart-like swimming ability, the Puffin breads in burrows on islands, and winters at sea. This image of a two Puffins is taken from a watercolour on paper painting by award-winning artist Daniel Mackie. The artists work is heavily influenced by the Japanese print makers of the Ukiyo-e period, between 1670 and 1870. Daniel creates highly decorative designs that lift the spirit and warm the heart.
