Housing, medical care, and education is provided to its more than 1,000 workers and their families. The estate’s 525 hectares of tea grow at 5,413 to 6,955 feet above sea level, in a climate that’s cold, dry, and misty, and it is evident in the cup. Glendale Estate is Rainforest Alliance and Ethical Tea Partnership certified.
