Barton Springs III

DESCRIPTION Barton Springs is Austin's spring-fed swimming area. For thousands of years, the springs were used by the Tonkawa Native American tribe for purification rituals. Today, Barton Springs is one of Austin’s most visited local gems. In fact, Robert Redford learned to swim at Barton Springs when he was a child! The pool has a constant 68 degree temperature year around- perfect for the soaring Texas summers. In 1837, William (Uncle Billy) Barton settled the area and took to naming the three springs that feed the pool after his three daughters (Parthenia, Eliza, and Zenobia). In the 1920’s, the area was deeded to the city of Austin, and it was then the pool took the formation it has today with concrete walls and sidewalks. Now incorporating the D|System features, the BSIII includes D|Change, D|Adjust and D|Protect. Each piece also will deliver on an all-new 5-Link SEL bracelet, and FKM Rubber strap.
