A large scale version of the cornicello. A cornicello, cornetto, corno, or corno portafortuna is an Italian amulet or talisman worn to protect against the evil eye and bad luck in general, and, more specifically, to promote fertility and virility.  Please allow a maximum of 3 weeks for me to make your jewel. This piece is made to order.  Details: - process: I have a soft spot for amulets and sometimes the most simple, most elegant amulets can not be found easily (in new or vintage gold). I decided to create the option of this sacred shape in solid gold and at a scale not often found easily.
