Bread Consolle was born from an everyday gesture transformed into pure sculpture. By cutting and balancing two bread slippers, Toogood studio created a soft, organic form capable of translating the act of cooking into a poetic and surprising design object. Made of carved ash wood, Bread consolidates the handcrafted, textural aesthetic of the Bread and Butter collection. The workmanship enhances the natural grain of the wood, while a refined maple inlay, stained in a primrose shade with a delicate, enveloping flavor, adds a tactile and visual detail that recalls the image of a slice of buttered bread. More than just a piece of furniture, Bread is a narrative piece, a tribute to the beauty of small things, to the everyday becoming extraordinary. Its soft, generous shapes convey warmth and welcome, making it perfect for intimate, contemporary settings. Like all production by Toogood, Bread reflects an unconventional and humane approach to design, where function and sculpture meet to gener
