It's July when the USA celebrates the country's independence. While we won’t delve into a history lesson about the Declaration of Independence, we at duPont REGISTRY will introduce you to something that could have benefited Paul Revere in his midnight ride: the 2024 1000HP Twin-Turbocharged YENKO/SC® C8 Corvette. Inspiration for this powerhouse of a Corvette comes from the infamous ZL-1 aluminum big-block engine found in a very limited run of Camaros and Corvettes that Chevrolet’s Central Office Production Center (COPO) produced.  Giving the C8 Corvette's engine a bit of independence from Chevrolet's stock form is a pair of 58mm ceramic ball-bearing water-cooled turbochargers.
