We've also added cushioning around the ankle for comfort, and a padded & gusseted tongue for a flexible fitting. A full-grain unlined oiled leather is under rigorous testing to ensure its ability to repel water and ensure strength & durability. This form of leather breaks in easily and is more resistant to liquid damage, requiring less maintenance over time.
