Tulips Sylvestris is also known as the 'Wood Tulip' or 'Vineyard Tulip'. In Europe, this yellow tulip variety is used as a naturalizing tulip for graveyards, vineyards and patios. Tulip Sylvestris is well known for its strong naturalizing potential. The bulbs reproduce small 'runners' in the ground which will produce foliage. If the bulbs are situated in a spot with plenty of sun, the foliage will grow an ever increasing amount of new flowers. The flowers have a sweet fragrance reminiscent of the scent of canola blossoms.
