Python Jaw can fit a whole deer! Yes, they can. Pythons eat almost anything they can get their jaws around by stretching their mouths four times wider than their skulls. To do so, the python opens its mouth at the joint in the middle of its jaw, and the two halves of the lower jaw flare out to the sides, then the skin and tissue in between stretch out wide enough to accommodate the food. So as you can see the skull we have right here, the two halves of the lower jaw are actually separated. Not to mention the size of the specimen, overall, it's a must-have item in every oddities collector cabinet.
