Week 4 June 30th-July 3th: Fiber Frenzy Madness (Yarn Dyeing, Spinning, Straw Weaving, Kumihimo & Poms)

We're learning all about color, creation and making artful messes in this 4 day Summer Camp! Ages 7-17yrs Rise and Shine Club (M - Th 10am-Noon): This week Campers will unleash they're creativity and transform plain skeins and wool roving into dazzling, one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Using professional dyeing techniques and vibrant acid dyes, we'll create our own rainbow of custom-dyed yarns and roving while learning about color theory and safe dye practices. Later this week we’ll learn the ancient craft of turning wool into beautiful, handspun yarn! Campers will discover how to prepare fiber, spin with a drop spindle, and ply their yarn to create unique skeins ready for knitting, crochet, or weaving.  Afternoon Adventure Zone (M - Th 1pm-3pm): We'll continue our crafting exploration with Straw Weaving! Campers will utilize drinking straws & colorful yarn to create stylish bracelets using traditional straw weaving techniques. Next, we'll explore the art of Japanese braiding with Kumih
