Virginia Bluebell
The Virginia Bluebell, or eastern bluebell, is native to eastern North America and often forms in large groups. They are known for their sky blue bell shaped flowers. Bluebells have several uses in traditional Native American medicine, including as a treatment for tuberculosis and whooping cough. Bluebells are edible, including the flowers. Three Creeks Metropark in Groveport, Ohio has a bluebell trail! Our Virginia Bluebell yarn is a beautiful tonal that waffles between sky blue and periwinkle. Is it purple or blue? Both!
