Large and elaborate pierced carved with panels of Mughal floral and bird designs. This highly decorative screen consists of panels joined to create a screen, each panel having a carved and pierced crest to the top with birds, floral and foliate decoration. The sections consists of pierced panels of ‘pinjra’ work, this meaning birdcage, surrounded by a carved geometric edge. Each panel is supported by Moorish style arcaded legs with carved floral decoration.
