This EBIKE Kit is suitable for installation on the Common City bike that uses the hub diameter less than 36mm.  this kit mounts the sprocket on the wheel spokes, so it fits most of bicycle wheel. Motor use freewheel so when wheel rotating, the motor will not rotate, just like a normal bike, this can reduce resistance. 2.What battery is recommended for this kit?  For the DIY EBIKE (24V kits) battery generally use two pieces Lead acid or Lithium battery(the 36V kits need three pieces batteries) .
