The system comes with a 1/4" transmitter that plugs directly into your guitar, and a receiver that sits on top of your amplifier. The transmitter eliminates the need for a bodypack and its associated cable. The system will automatically find the cleanest frequency. Neither setting up nor scrolling through complicated menus are required. The system offers 24-bit uncompresed signal over the 2.4 GHz range for minimal interference over a range of up to 50' line of site. The transmitter has a battery life of 8 hours and is rechargeable.
