POR-15 42008 Pint Aluminum High Temp Engine Enamel

POR-15 Engine Enamel is a direct-to-metal coating formulated to be the finest engine paint available, and has exceptional long term gloss and color retention. This enamel forms a robust barrier that sheds moisture and keeps engine surfaces from pitting and rusting to provide long lasting protection.  Offered in 24 original factory colors, it is rated up to 350 F and guaranteed not to burn off. Size: Pint Color: Gloss Aluminum Can be applied directly to prepared bare steel or previously painted and primed surfaces. Apply 1-2 coats, recoating within 24 hours if necessary. Let dry 4-6 days before starting engine. Can be applied in 50-80 F temp range, ideal temp is 70 F Prepare bare steel using POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser, then POR-15 Metal Prep Prepare previously painted surfaces with 320 grit sandpaper, then POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser.
