The Little Stray

As calves get a little older, they tend to wander off and sometimes need to be escorted back to momma and the herd.  This little gal had gotten thirsty and made her way down to the water for a drink.  The long yellow rain slicker worn by the cowboy indicates that this was a wet, rainy day.  These slickers are common among cowboys in Kansas that do this kind of work a lot because the weather can change at the drop of a hat.
