Charlotte & Rugsley

Charlotte and her brother Pugsley came into the program together, have been in the same foster home for 6 months, and are truly bonded. So we are offering them for adoption as a pair.They are retriever/Australian shepherd mixes, about 1 ½ yr old. Charlotte (also known as Dixie) weighs 36#, Pugsley (aka Zeke) is a little bigger at 48#. Their mother, and all 6 adolescent pups in their litter were surrendered to an animal control back in January, when the owners were moving. These pups were behind in their socialization with people. They love every dog they have met thus far, but are shy and hesitant to meet new people. They are both very playful with each other, and respond to “no” when it’s time to stop. They chase and wrestle all day long, or take a time-out to chew on butcher bones. The fosters are working on socializing them with new people. Charlotte is cuddly as ever with her foster family.
