Meet Peaches! Petfinder doesn't have her breed in the list of choices, so we had to select the closest breed we could find.Peaches is a 3-4 year old beautiful Red Heeler (or mix) who is around 40 pounds. Peaches came to her foster home from a reservation in South Dakota. She was very sweet and loving, however, also nervous about certain things such as doorways and having her collar touched. She also could not tolerate being kenneled. She was adopted out but returned 6 months later due to Peaches and her adopter not being a good personality match. When she came back to her fosters, she came back even more even timid and fearful than when she first came into Second Chance so her fosters had to start over regaining her trust. Once that was accomplished, and with the help of an amazing behaviorist and vet, Peaches has been placed on some anxiety medication and has been doing amazing.
