Ruby Druids Ring with Gold Inlay in Sterling Silver

This would have been worn as a talisman against evil by an ancient druid.... channeling his powers into a single point of focus. How I made it:This ring had to be very thick to start with so I crafted a extra thick sterling sliver band using lost wax casting. I then hand filed it into the rough hewn form you see. I then hammered the face of each rough facet on the ring, building up the silver towards the edges to create the texture you now see. Lastly, a deep red natural 2.5mm ruby was hand set, flush into the band. Features:Solid Sterling Silver, Solid 22k yellow gold (Stamped 18k as I do not have a 22k sta
