This antique Chinese Qing Dynasty pendant features a striking glass enamel and silver design on a sterling silver chain. The two-part articulated pendant is finished in glossy green glass enamel, highlighted by a purple center that encloses a silver wire money symbol. Five small enameled cones dangle from the ornament, which measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inch. The chain, marked 925, is 19 3/4 inches long. This charming piece may have originally been a hat, hair, or clothing ornament, and while it shows some minor enamel loss, it remains impressively well-preserved for its age.
