The selection helps support the Tibetan people, refugees of Tibet and the monasteries.  Traditionally, Tibetan prayer flags come in sets of five, with one flag in each of five colors, left to right in this specific order: blue, white, red, green, and yellow. The colors represent the elements: blue (sky and space) white (air and wind), red (fire), green (water), and yellow (earth). Allow a good motivation when hanging your prayer flag. They can be strung together and placed inside, outside or wherever the positive energies can be respected and coalesced with the elements.
