Overland Skills Weekend - Radio Comms & Navigation June 11th in Lovettsville, VA This Overland Skills Weekend will feature six hours of high quality hands-on experiential skills training as well as casual question and answer time after the class on Saturday night. Friday Fireside Chat 8pm: Comms and Navigation Needs The morning session from 9am to 12noon will focus on Radio Communications .  The afternoon session from 1pm to 4 pm will focus on Overland Navigation Saturday Debrief 4pm: Radio selection and installation Q&A No prior knowledge or experience is needed. Instructors will provide some hands-on practical exercises in using radios in a variety of settings as well as researching routes, importing and exporting GPX files, using Gaia to navigate in the back country, and layering different mapping resources for maximum information. In addition to the instructional time, each attendee will receive a 3 month trial subscription to Gaia GPS Premium.  Please download Gaia GPS
