Prairifire Crabapple 6-ft branched tree

Prairie Fire has red coursing through its veins: magenta spring flowers, deep purple-red foliage, purple fruits, shiny dark-red bark, and even the interior of the wood is pink. Flowers bloom a little later than others and stay open extra-long. The canopy shape is rounded and spreading, with attractive dramatic branch angles. Matures to about 20 ft tall and wide. A long-time favorite of East Hill Tree Farm. Sometimes mistakenly called cherries because of their profuse spring flowers, lustrous foliage, and colorful tiny fruits on long stems, crabapples are a ubiquitous and beloved landscaping staple.
