Solid Spork 5'6"
Shaper's Comments: I drew this board up on the dry erase board months before I actually shaped it. The outline was pulled from a rounded DisFish nose and a semi-gun round pin tail cut off 10" from the end of the template. Another one of our boards where the concept is to generate the most drive out of the most compact board. Out of a 5'7 we have achieved the drive of a 6'4 round pin by adding a super deep single concave all the way through the tail, small tail channels, and we've moved the back fins on the quad set further back. The moon tail also works by adding more bite and pivot points on this wider tail. There is a fair amount of rocker, as the single concave is so deep that it lowers the stringer rocker, keeping the board from plowing.
