Blueprinted 4.1 Torsen Differential (SPEC MX-5 Legal) Each 4.1 differential begins as a used unit and undergoes the following process: Complete disassembly, cleaning, and thorough inspection Installation of a new SMX Torsen unit Pinion gear setup and optimization Precision gear engagement blueprinted Pinion gear lash adjusted for minimal parasitic drag Crush tube torqued to manufacturer specifications New differential side bearings, pinion bearing, and seal installed Diff balancer is removed Fully assembled and ready for direct installation Core Charge: A $500 core charge is applied to every differential and will be refunded once the differential is returned to ESR and inspected. This charge is already included in the total price. Return Policy: To receive the core charge refund, the differential must be returned to ESR within 30 days of purchase.
