This kit offers a solution to the recurring CAM sensor connector problems many Miatas face. This is a genuine Mazda CAM sensor with external plug for Spec Miata which meets SCCA and NASA rules.* A newer generation, more robust sensor is modified to race quality specifications for improved durability & performance. A simple to crimp Deutsch 3-Way Connector is applied to the wiring (see image 2) and a mating connector kit is offered for the harness side connection. In addition, the added pigtail can run in conjunction with the factory connector to allow for switching sensors between a stock or modified harness connector. Each assembly is tested on a running car to ensure proper functionality. This kit will work for both street and race applications. *SCCA 9.1.7.1.o.9/NASA 12.17.1: An electrical pigtail ranging from 3” to 6” in length and terminated with any 3 pin electrical connector may be soldered and potted to the OEM cam sensor for the purpose of correcting a known issue with the
