Gorham Silver Claret Jug American Aesthetic Movement Dated 1886 (Decanter)

Very fine and elegant antique Gorham silver plate claret jug / decanter from the American Aesthetic Period.  Beautiful form with tasteful reeded handle and bands of repousse floral forms on the main body and neck. Signed with the Gorham factory hallmarks on the underside together with the date code for 1886. Condition is very good for age with expected minor surface imperfections & tarnish. A gorgeous piece for any table setting. 13" tall x 6" x 6". 2.5 pounds.
