FRANCE : BURGUNDY : CHABLIS  Chardonnay MED-BODIED, MINERAL, LINEAR, GREEN APPLE, CITRUS, PEAR, SALT, NO OAK Densely packed, ripe, and penetrating, this stunning Chablis from Patrick Piuze's village-level "Terroir" series has a nice fruity attack and salty umami finish. Sourced from a single-vineyard site named 'Des Couvert' that lies in a cool corridor next to 1er Cru Vaulorent on the north facing side of the Grand Cru hill, 'Découverte' is typically the last wine of the series to be harvested.  FARMING : Sustainable  PAIRING : Light Fish & Shellfish
