Fender Musicmaster Bass 1976

Beginning its evolution as a stripped down Mustang, the MusicMaster has taken on a life of its own And it has gained a renewed reputation being a tone machine that is simple, stays outta your way and just lets you rip.  This particular one comes to us from AD 1976. This beauty has a refinished black finish and it has aged absolutely beautifully over the years. It's got dings and playwear...all the signs to let you know that this guitar has seen action and it's ready for more (see pics). Born from an alder body, maple neck (0.810"-0.950"), rosewood fretboard (7.25" radius) with a 1 19/32" nut width. Besides the refin, it has received other change-ups in its life. The pickguard is a replacement guard. The pickup (7.5k) in it is not the original pickup but it still sounds like it should! It does still retain the original pots. The body has some routing that was done at some point (see pics). Finally the tuners are replacement tuners (that work great, and hold the tuning rock solid).  T
