The circuitry of the Power 50 Overdrive uses MOSFET technology to recreate the preamp stages of Tom’s amplifier for amp-like performance that’s uncanny in its ability to reproduce those big, gnarly tones. Tom relies solely on his amplifier for his signature distortion tones, and when you step on the Power 50 Overdrive, you’ll understand why. The Power 50 Overdrive is fitted with the same control interface as Tom’s amp, featuring Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume, and Presence knobs so that you can replicate his exact settings or tune the sound to your own taste. Tom runs all of his effects pedals through his amp’s FX loop, giving his signal chain a unique tonal twist.
