An ode to the Fall season as we know it and inspired by the figs growing in Loria's backyard as well as the New Yorker article entitled "Love the Fig" highlighting the illustrious fig fruit (which we learn is actually a flower according to botanic classification!). These cookies are infused with dried fig leaves and balsamic vinegar and pressed with a variety (and there are 750 different varieties!) of fresh figs-- what a divine treat!
