Shaped and finished by hand at Will Griffin's studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn, the French-style rolling pin is a classic baking tool that every kitchen needs. Offering control and versatility at levels that other rolling pin styles just cannot compete with, this one-piece, solid wood rolling pin is slender in diameter, wide in profile, and tapered at both ends, qualities that together allow for finesse and a light touch where pressure and feel are important, especially for pastry doughs of various variety. To make these, Will draws from the beautifully figured Pennsylvania Cherry wood supplied by a single tree, of which he will use every grain.
