*This is a Made-to-Order object that requires approximately three months to craft from the time your order is placed.   An object born of devotion, patience, and pursuit of perfection, this first-of-its-kind copper sauce pan by metal artist Tim Lucas embodies the mastery that only decades of skill can produce. The result of countless hours of design, turning, forging, and polishing, each step is executed by Tim’s own hand at his Connecticut studio. Both pan and lid are individually turned on the lathe, achieving perfect proportion and symmetry. A handle of forged carbon steel, fastened with three hand-peened solid copper rivets, provides exceptional control and balance in motion, while a polished stainless-and-copper finial crowns the lid with understated elegance. The interior is tinned by hand using traditional methods, a time-honored craft that ensures a naturally smooth, responsive cooking surface.
